Hi, I’m Vicky!
I’ve spent the past 8 years working on complex legal workflows, specializing in turning ambiguity into structured solutions that shape long-term product direction.
My work spans early visioning through shipped execution — particularly when the problem space is undefined and the stakes are high.
My role typically involves:
Defining roadmaps and breaking strategy into shippable milestones
Making informed trade-offs between speed, scope, and quality
Partnering deeply with product and engineering
Representing design in stakeholder conversations with executive leadership
I’m most energized by work that’s messy, important, and worth doing well.
-
When I work on 0→1 initiatives, I focus on:
Clarifying the real problem before committing to solutions
Aligning stakeholders early around constraints and direction
Designing for real workflows, not idealized ones
Breaking ambiguity into shippable slices
Shipping early to learn, then scaling intentionally
-
I’ve shipped over 150 features across Everlaw, ranging from fast iterations to multi-quarter investments. Because of this, I’m often brought into projects where:
The scope isn’t fully defined
Timelines are tight
Decisions need to be made with incomplete information
I’m comfortable making those calls, explaining the trade-offs, and helping teams move forward with confidence.
-
As projects scale, I also look for ways to multiply impact.
That often means:
Delegating scoped work to other designers
Coaching them to ship in parallel
Creating clear frameworks and direction so teams can move independently
I care as much about how work gets shipped as what ships.
Prior to working at Everlaw, I graduated from UC Davis 🐴 with a B.A in Psychology and Human Development and an Education minor.
Outside of work, you’ll likely catch me carrying a Kindle around, trying new recipes, and going on runs. ✌️
